My family roots go back many generations to the islands and mainland of the mid coast Maine. Meeting the challenges of ice and snow, blackflies, and a less than stellar economy year after year requires creativity, resourcefulness, hard work, patience and a good sense of humor. I was fortunate to see this first hand in my own family, many of whom were talented artists and musicians. I am honored to carry on that creative heritage which inspired me to look beyond the everyday struggles and see the beauty of life. I live in Union, Maine, one of the most beautiful places on earth.
